Newsbrief: The official Twitch channels for Xbox, PlayStation and the eSports League (ESL) have had their archived broadcasts removed, following a hack that Twitch believes has occurred at the Gamescom show. Broadcasts with inappropriate, racist and homophobic slurs began to appear on the Twitch channels for these companies overnight, and Twitch says it's likely someone has accessed the channels at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. "We're deleting the offensive VODs as soon as we find them and are alerting individual teams at the venue," Twitch told Polygon. "As a precautionary measure, we temporarily removed highlights and past broadcasts for those channels since it's in the early hours of the morning in Cologne."
