Newsbrief: Lords of Draenor has had a predictable effect on World of Warcraft: Pushing subscriptions for the game way back up. The game now has over 10 million subscribers, and 3.3 million copies of the expansion pack have sold through to consumers at retail and via digital download, Activision Blizzard says. When the company announced its most recent quarterly financial results on November 4, the game had 7.4 million subscribers -- already a boost over its recent low ebb, thanks to built-up anticipation for Draenor. The game hit its apex in late 2010, when over 12 million people were actively subscribed to the game. Warlords of Draenor has so far launched in North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
