Capcom's sales and profits were down heavily during the last quarter, as the company failed to release any major titles during the last three months. While Ultra Street Fighter IV and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy continued to post steady sales, Capcom admitted that it needs to reduce the cost of sales by cutting back on administrative expenses. Notably, the company saw great revenues and profits in the same quarter last year thanks to the success of Monster Hunter 4, so a drop in sales and profits was always on the cards. "Because small titles and repeat sales made up the majority of sales overall due to the lack of major titles in the lineup during the period under review, sales were not sufficient to offset the aforementioned downturn in Monster Hunter 4 sales, even though the digital download content supported sales growth," said the company. For the quarter ended September 30, 2014, Capcom posted revenues of 25.9 billion yen ($239.8 million), down 51.3 percent year-over-year, and profits of 3.0 billion yen ($27.8 million), down 39.9 percent.
