Against all odds, Harmonix has pulled it off. While success for the studio's Amplitude Kickstarter wasn't looking likely, the crowdfunding campaign broke through its goal last night, with hours to spare. Harmonix launched the Kickstarter for a rebooted Amplitude earlier this month, stating that if the Kickstarter didn't work, the game simply couldn't be made through any other means. And while it was looking grim up until a few days ago, the Kickstarter received a sudden burst of energy this week thanks to various high-profile articles and appeals. "We honestly can’t believe it," said Harmonix's John Drake. "We get to make another Amplitude and play it with you guys. It’s incredible."
