Newsbrief: Warner Bros. Interactive has formed a new studio in San Francisco, which it says will focus on developing free-to-play mobile and browser-based games. WB Games San Francisco will be led by Greg Ballard, Warner Bros.'s current senior vice president of digital games, and aims to take advantage of the social and mobile buzz in the Bay Area.
