Newsbrief: The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles has released the first two episodes of its game-centric documentary series "Art in Video Games Los Angeles" for free on YouTube, with more to come in the near future. The first pair of (very brief) episodes explore how creators can express themselves through interactive media, and include edited interviews with folks like USC Games director Tracy Fullerton and NYU Game Center's Eric Zimmerman. Later episodes of the 13-part documentary series are expected to feature industry veterans like Kellee Santiago, Richard Lemarchand and Jenova Chen as series seeks to document the evolution of game design and game culture in Los Angeles. We've taken the liberty of embedding one of the first episodes above, but you can also watch the videos over on the MOCAtv YouTube channel.
