Communications service Viber has launched their Viber Games platform today after a five month pilot period, allowing players to share and play games from within the Viber application.
Viber Games is launching with three titles, Viber Candy Mania and Viber Pop from Storm8, and Wild Luck Casino from Playtika. Both games were built with a private API that allows players to use their Viber accounts to log in and share the games with their Viber contacts.
The Viber platform itself boasts over half a billion users over almost 200 countries, as well as being available on pretty much every mobile platform, garnering these games a huge embedded audience, especially as the competition is extremely limited currently, although that's soon to change.
