Newsbrief: Game publisher Valve is getting ready to launch what will be the first game to officially support the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. Valve's popular Team Fortress 2 -- which the studio previously told us is its guinea pig for new tech and business opportunities -- will officially support the unit with a game update in the next couple of weeks, Valve programmer Joe Ludwing tells Engadget. The update will come just in time for the first round of developer kits being shipped out sometime this month. Gamasutra spoke to Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe recently about how the company plans to support independent developers, you can see the results of our conversation here.
