The folks behind turn-based strategy game Might & Magic Heroes VII published a blog post today outlining how Ubisoft is ending both support for the game and its years-long "partnership" with the game's developer, Limbic Entertainment.

That's important because Limbic is best known in the U.S. for making Might & Magic games like Heroes VII, Heroes VI and Might & Magic X: Legacy in conjunction with Ubisoft and other studios.

In light of today's news, it seems unlikely the studio, based in Germany, will be working on any further games bearing that brand.

It's worth noting that Ubisoft also terminated support for a slew of free-to-play games in its catalog just a few weeks ago.
