Summer Games Done Quick raises $1.76M for Doctors Without Borders

Newsbrief: Summer Games Done Quick 2017 has raised a massive $1.76 million for international medical humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders. 

The bi-annual speedrunning event sees a group of volunteers rally together to complete games at breakneck speeds to raise cash for charity. 

The summer edition ran from July 2 to July 9, and featured a variety of titles old and new, including Earthbound, Diablo 2, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario 64, and Dark Souls III.
