Newsbrief: As GDC rolls on, Valve has listed a seemingly final version of the Steam Controller and an array of third-party Steam Machines on its Steam storefront with a "November 2015" launch date.
It's an interesting opportunity to take a look at the design of the $50 Steam Controller (pictured below), which has changed significantly since developers went hands-on with a prototype version in late 2013.
The Steam Machines themselves are sourced from a variety of hardware partners and run the gamut in price, from just under $500 to over $4,000.
Most of the participating manufacturers have been onboard since Valve showcased the Steam Machines initiative at CES 2014, but now they're actually listed on the Steam storefront.
