Newsbrief: Former Bungie composer Marty O'Donnell has accepted an offer of nearly $100,000 to settle his lawsuit against Bungie president Harold Ryan over unpaid benefits after Bungie allegedly fired O'Donnell without cause in April. O'Donnell took Bungie to court in June seeking double damages on his unpaid benefits, and this month Ryan acquiesced to his demands. According to court documents published by Game Informer, Ryan offered O'Donnell double the $38,385.50 he sought in unpaid benefits, plus money to cover interest and legal fees, for a total of $95,019.13. O'Donnell accepted the settlement last week, bringing the lawsuit to a close.
