Newsbrief: Just over a year after it launched, Psyonix's hugely popular vehicular soccer sim Rocket League has amassed over 20 million players.
The news was tweeted out by the studio earlier today, and is the latest in a long list of milestones.
Back in June, it was revealed the game had raked in over $110 million in revenue from 5 million sales across PS4, Xbox One, and PC -- clearly indicating that every player hasn't actually purchased a copy of the game.
Rocket League also had the honor of being the first Xbox One title to support cross-network play with Steam, and if Sony gives Psyonix the thumbs up the game could eventually bridge the multiplayer gap between Xbox One and PS4.
WOW! 20 MILLION players for Rocket League! Thank you to the best community ever! #EverybodyDance pic.twitter.com/nLGFC6Wktm
