Newsbrief: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president Jim Ryan took the stage at the company's annual Gamescom press conference and announced that as of today, the company has sold over 10 million PlayStation 4 consoles, globally. "Just in case that wasn't clear, that's sold through to consumers," Ryan said. Microsoft has not lately announced any shipped or sold numbers for its Xbox One console, which is widely perceived as lagging behind the PlayStation 4.
