With the beta for the PS4's upcoming 4.00 update -- codenamed 'Shingen' -- starting tomorrow, Sony has revealed what features users can expect when it finally rolls out.

Notably, the time limit for Twitter video clips has been upped from 10 seconds to 140 seconds, meaning players will now be able to share over 2 minutes of gameplay footage in an instant.

The update will also let users create custom folders on the PS4's content launcher and library, giving them the ability to quickly access and manage their favorite apps and games by grouping them together.

Other tweaks include an overhauled share menu, refreshed UI, trophy improvements, and redesigned user profiles that will better display relevant player information.
