California-based startup Mobcrush, best known for building apps for livestreaming games on iOS and Android, has managed to raise $20 million from investors in its latest round of funding.
This is, to date, the biggest injection of cash into Mobcrush, which operates a platform that's potentially of great interest to mobile game devs who want people to stream their work.
Mobcrush raised over $11 million from investors last fall, and this latest fundraising brights its total investments to over $35 million. According to a press release, the company will use its new wealth to hire more engineers and try to get more people actively using its platform.
While it's been in beta for some time, the Mobcrush apps officially launched back in June. Video game livestreaming market leader Twitch has been offering its own take on mobile game livestreaming for some time.
