Newsbrief: Longtime EA exec Larry Probst is stepping down from the company, but will retain his seat on EA's board of directors, an SEC filing reveals. He tendered his resignation last week. Probst served as the CEO of EA from 1991 till 2007, when John Riccitiello took over the role. Riccitiello stepped down in March 2013, at which point Probst briefly took the reins again until a replacement could be found. Current CEO Andrew Wilson took the job in September 2013. If you're interested in Probst's contributions to EA over the years, you should read this Gamasutra retrospective of the company, originally published in 2007.
