Mobile game firm Scopely has managed to raise $55 million in a round of financing led by Greycroft Growth Fund, and it plans to put that money towards expanding its developer ecosystem and investing in games.

Scopely has been operating its mobile game publishing platform for some time, making this significant investment notable for devs who currently work with (or are thinking about working with) the company to publish their games on mobile.

While Scopely does develop games internally, it has also helped publish games like Disco Bees (pictured) from Space Inch.

The company previously raised $35 million from investors in 2014. Going forward, company chief Walter Driver stated (via press release, naturally) that the company will use its newfound funds to "take our model and leverage it across an even more diverse catalog and audience."
