GungHo Online's mobile hit Puzzle & Dragons shows no signs of slowing down, as financial documents released today show that the publisher generated 10 billion yen ($105 million) in February alone. GungHo's financial report for February, and as translated by industry consultant Serkan Toto, does not actually mention mobile game Puzzle & Dragons -- however, based on previous estimates, Toto believes that the game must have generated between $62-86 million during last month. That translates to roughly $2.5 million daily -- up from the estimated $2 million a day that the game was reportedly making in January. This revenue is being generated by a registered userbase of 10 million users across iOS and Android, and is mainly down to a huge surge of paying players in Japan (although the game is also available to download in Europe and the U.S.) Recent player data for the game suggests that revenue figures have not yet peaked. It's no wonder that Japanese telecommunications company SoftBank was so eager to increase its stake in GungHo earlier this month.
