Newsbrief: Today during the company's investor call following its full-year financial results, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick announced that Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V has shipped 65 million units globally, VentureBeat reports.
That's up from 52 million last year. Originally released in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2014 and Windows PC last year.
The game's popularity (and profitability) is bolstered by Grand Theft Auto Online, which was included with GTA V.
The game's producer, Leslie Benzies, is currently suing Rockstar North, alleging that he was unfairly dismissed from the company.
