Google Play has created the 'Apps and Games Against Hunger' collection to help promote and raise cash for World Food Day.

The promotion will see 12 apps donate 100 percent of IAP revenue pulled in from October 16 and October 21 to the World Food Program USA.

It's hoped the gesture will make Google Play users more aware of the hunger crisis affecting around 815 million people right now.

The collection features plenty of popular titles, including Marvel: Contest of Champions, Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari, and Animation Throwdown

The World Food Program USA supports the mission of the UN World Food Programme -- one of the leading agencies fighting hunger -- by working with lawmakers and businesses in the States to advance the movement and provide food to those in need.
