Newsbrief: Two God of War veterans -- writer Marianne Krawczyk and Sony Santa Monica production manager Whitney Wade -- are teaming up to teach a course in UCLA's Professional Programs series. The course, called "Interactivity: A Course in Video Game Design and Development," aims to teach attendees the ins and outs of the game development process from a creative and production standpoint, and leave them with a greenlight pitch as the final product. UCLA's Professional Programs are graduate-level, non-credit courses aimed at professional development. Krawczyk and Wade's class will begin on September 30, with an application deadline of September 2. For more from Krawczyk, Ubisoft writer Richard Dansky recently published an interview with her on Gamasutra blogs. Interested in Wade? She co-wrote a postmortem for God of War: Ascension.
