Concept Artist, KingsIsle Entertainment
Location: Austin, TX KingsIsle Entertainment is currently looking for Concept Artists at mid and senior levels of experience to work on an exciting new family-focused AAA MMO video game. Responsibilities
Candidate will work with art and design to craft and maintain the project's art style and manage concept art creation
Candidate will be expected to translate the vision of the designers to concept art and ensure that all work conforms to the technical and stylistic specifications set forth
Effectively relate vision to developers and artists
Approach systematically all areas of concept art creation
Produce a wide variety of drawings, including character, item and environment, that define the look and function of non-photorealistic in-game assets
Work closely with project leads to define the style and look of the game
Create storyboards, sketches, in-game 2D screens, layouts and color comps
