CCP Games -- creator of the soon-to-be freemium MMO, EVE Online -- has opened a new studio in London, and will soon look to centralize its entire business in the UK capital.
As noted by MCV, the new office will house around 40 staff, though there's no word on what game they'll be working on.
Although studio CEO Hilmar Veigar Pétursson explains "we are going to run the company from London," no formal corporate changes will be made until the British government outlines a clear 'Brexit' strategy for leaving the European Union.
Ultimately, the London opening will act as a bridge between CCP's other studios in Newcastle, Shanghai, Atlanta and Iceland.
"The idea is to centralize the management of the company in London, with easy access to all the other offices," said Pétursson.
"We are also going to have a small development team here, and trying to reach London’s development talent pool."
