EA's former chief creative director Richard Hilleman will be ending his short hiatus to join Amazon Game Studios.
Hilleman left EA back in May after spending over three decades with the U.S. publishing giant.
The veteran director joined EA in the '80s, and during his tenure helped create and refine some of its biggest sports franchises, including Madden Football, NHL Hockey, and PGA Tour Golf.
Speaking on Facebook, Hilleman didn't specify exactly what he'll be doing at Amazon, simply teasing plans to do some things we'll recognise, and some things we won't.
"Many of you wished me well in mid May as I left EA. Some of you wanted to know what I was going to do next. It's time to use these hands again," he wrote.
"Today I join a number of old friends, and some new ones as part of Amazon Game Studios. I will be doing a number of things you will recognize, and some new things that will surprise you."
