Blue Mammoth Games has announced plans to open up a second development studio in Amsterdam at the start of 2018, partially in a bid to increase Brawlhalla’s presence in Europe.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, the new Netherlands-based studio will provide additional development support for Blue Mammoth’s free-to-play fighting game Brawlhalla while also working on new projects. Additionally, the developer is now looking at hosting LAN tournaments in Europe and using its new location to better connect with its European player base.
The studio itself is set to open January 2018 with a core staff of three, but Blue Mammoth Games expects to grow that staff to 25 over time.
