Applications are now open for CryEngine's Indie Development Fund, which is offering CryEngine devs the chance to claim a slice of a $1 million funding pool.
Eligible applicants must already have a project in development, and can't have a publishing or dev deal in place.
To boost their chances, applicants can lobby for a cut of the cash by showcasing their project at CryEngine's online gallery.
Ultimately, CryEngine will have the final say on where the money goes, but community interest will be taken into account.
"Every day we see our community do awesome and unexpected things with CryEngine, and with this fund we will support the most innovative and inspiring work," said the company's business development director, George Scotto.
"We're very excited by the applications we’ve already received, and we can't wait to help developers achieve their vision, whether on established platforms or the new generation of VR HMDs."
The first recipients will be announced at the end of September, although additional funding rounds will be held every three months.
You can submit your own application right here, but be sure to do so before the doors close on September 9.
