Newsbrief: UK indie studio Remode shut down earlier this year, but now the original founders have formed a new studio, with the aim to focus solely on developing its own IP. Remode closed down back in February, when founders Ella Romanos and Martin Darby realized that work-for-hire had taken too large of a role at the company, when what they really wanted to do was make their own games. So now the pair, along with Gareth Lewis, has formed Strike Gamelabs, a new studio based in Cornwall that will not take on work-for-hire, and will instead focus solely on creating its own games. The studio has already secured investment for its first game, while is due for release sometime in 2015.
