  3. Activision may be resurrecting Sierra next week

Newsbrief: Activision has hinted that it may be resurrecting its Sierra studio, with a teaser video from the defunct studio. Activision bought and closed down Sierra back in 2008, as part of a merger with Sierra's then owner Vivendi Games. However, the Sierra website has now been updated with a short teaser video, and a new Sierra logo. The publisher says that it will reveal next week at Gamescom in exactly what capacity Sierra has returned.
